To get the best out of Crest teeth whitening strips, both in terms of safety and results, it is important to know how to use them properly. By ensuring you use Crest whitening strips in the correct manner they are intended for, you will achieve a much better end-result without the risk of damaging your teeth or gums.
Fortunately, we have created this detailed and informative ‘how to use’ guide so you can follow each step with ease:
1. Preparation
Before using the whitening strips, make sure you brush your teeth at least 2 hours before wearing whitening strips (as this can cause tooth sensitivity).
2. Removal
Carefully remove the upper teeth and lower teeth whitening strips from the packaging.
3. Re-Sizing
If need be, you can cut the whitening strips down to the size of your teeth.
4. Protective Seal
Carefully remove the protective plastic seal covering the gel side of the whitening strips.
5. Attaching
Carefully place the whitening strips on to your teeth whilst avoiding the gel coming into contact with your gums.
6. Wear Time
Allow the whitening strips to stick on your teeth for the recommended amount of time (usually between 15 – 60 mins).
7. Disposal
When completed the recommended wear time, slowly and gently peel the whitening strips off your teeth and dispose into the bin.
8. Rinse
Get a cup of water and gently rinse your mouth out. Do not gargle or swish water around your mouth agressively.
9. Post-Treatment
DO NOT brush your teeth for at least 2 hours and do not consume any food for at least 1 hour.
10. Repeat
Repeat the treatment and steps above each day for the recommended treatment plan duration.
